My 8 year old daughter has been attending piano lessons with Alex since the the age of 4. I have been extremely impressed with the clear and thorough way of teaching that Alex uses which has resulted in her gaining a good understanding of both the piano technique and music reading. Alex makes lessons fun and focussed and her confidence grows each week - in addition, she thoroughly enjoys each lesson and can see her own progression now she is getting older. The way Alex utilises the time of each lesson is extremely efficient and all communication regarding at home practice and any books or equipment that is required is excellent and clear. We would highly recommend Alex as a tutor and look forward to may more years of our weekly Piano lessons.
