Pricing FAQs
What payment methods do you accept?
You can pay by credit card, debit card or bank transfer. Full payment instructions are provided on our invoices. We don’t accept payments by cash, cheque or childcare vouchers.
Do I need to pay in advance?
Yes, payment is required in advance before starting trial lessons, roughly one week before the first lesson.
Invoices for regular lessons must also be paid in advance, by the end of the month before the lessons take place. For example, regular lessons in September must be paid by the end of August.
Are there any discounts available?
We don’t offer discounts right now, but we do have a referral scheme! If you refer friends and family who book trial lessons, you’ll get £50 off your next invoice for every new customer.
Are there any other costs connected with ongoing lessons?
A tutor might recommend additional materials to supplement the student’s learning from time-to-time, which the customer would need to buy. These could be music books for piano students, or revision guides/practice workbooks for academic students.
If a piano student is sitting an exam, the customer would pay the exam entry fee.
What is your cancellation policy? Will I be charged for missed lessons?
All term-time lessons are compulsory, and if they’re missed, you’ll still be charged for them. If you provide your tutor with at least two days’ notice, they might be able to reschedule the lesson to a different day or time. However, this is dependent on the tutor’s availability, and can’t be guaranteed.
On the rare occasion that your tutor cancels a lesson and can’t offer a suitable alternative, you’ll be credited for this lesson. The credit will appear on your next invoice, which will reduce the total amount due for payment.
How much notice do you need for stopping regular lessons?
We only ask for 4 weeks’ notice if you wish to stop regular lessons. This notice must be sent by email to the office.
